Happy 2nd Anniversary!

Happy 2 years to you dear! :D
Thank you so much for the surprise you have given me!
He really kept his mouth sealed the whole time when I was asking where were we heading to and why did we have to wake up at 7am in the morning. xD

Driving to Tanah Merah ferry terminal. Loving the clouds that morning.

C's Mee Siam and my Fried Kway Tiao for breakfast at a Malay stall inside the terminal.

Our boarding passes.

Witnessed the Kaisu spirit of Singaporean straight after snapping this photo. It wasn't even time for the gate to open yet but all the uncles and aunties (who I bet, were heading to the Gamble ship) started queuing up 10 minutes ahead of time. LOL (Y)

Left at around 10am and we reached Batam 40 minutes later.

Turi Beach Resort!

Complimentary ginger drink.

Loves~
Selcas at a corner of the reception with wind blowing me away (very strong indeed).
SOTD:
Pink Flare's Printed Tunic with a black tube and shorts
C's New Look Cardigan

Two happy human beings~

Rest a while before we went to explore the other parts of the resort. Went to swim in the sea. Okays, didn't exactly swim. The tide was high at the point of time, so we were just standing till the point where the sandy water hits our waist. The floor bed was full of rocks and stones that hurts when we walked and the sea water wasn't very clean. :(
So we moved on to the swimming pools~

Checked into Room 417 at around 12pm.
Scenary from our hotel room door.
Checking out the room~
Toilet!

Time to hit the beach!

Jet-skiing and canoes are available for rentals too!

Love lying on this~

一望无际的海!

Went to explore the;

Couldn't go all the way as the bridge was under renovation. You surely won't want to walk all the way there when you look down at the sea. *Scary*

Swam a while before we decided to go wash up and head to the city area.

Cute vehicle we spotted while the reception calls a cab for us.

Well, I believe that it isn't actually a cab, just someone who wants to earn more money driving us. The smell of the car was *ZOMG*.

Beautiful sunset.

After approximately 40 minutes, we finally reached Nagoya Hills, which was recommended by Jiaxi since he had been to Batam before.
We both were famished at the point of time. Decided to settle our dinner with some Chinese food cooked by Indonesians.

Self-shots while waiting for the food to come..... :P

I was clever to share a bowl of rice with C cos I know we would definitely eat something else after all these:

121k Rupiahs is equivalent to 16.90 SGD! Gotta love delicious and inexpensive dinners! :D

C's favourite fast-food restaurant = AandW.

Thick waffles with a scoop of ice-cream and chocolate syrup = YUMMY!

Costs 4.50 SGD for a mug of Root beer and waffles.

Walked the whole of Nagoya Hills. They have got 3 stories in total. Kinda reminds me of MBK in Bangkok. Selling loads of perfumes, different types of inspired bags and clothings.
Surprisingly, most of the bags are all cheaper than their clothes! Bags priced at around 17 SGD.
Their fashion is kinda old and the quality isn't that good.

Well, there was this shop that caught my attention though! It's actually a watch shop.
My favourite one is the 2nd chandelier on the top row! So princessy!

Went to their Hypermart at the basement and it's kinda like the same thing as Giant in Singapore.
C bought a few packets of the local Mee Goreng maggie mee back home to try.
I've always love to go to the Dairy section of a supermarket cos they have my favourite Yakult! Particularly love the original flavour! Same goes to my choice of potato chips~

1.05 SGD for a row of Yakult there. O_O
Kill me please! How I wish I can carry all of them back. Crazily cheap!

:P

C posing with an egg in GREEN! I've never seen GREEN eggs before in my whole life please.

Time to relax ourselves! A must-go place whenever we are out vacationing - Massage parlour.
Went to Google and they actually have a website! Opted for the Bali Traditional massage for the both of us that costs 25 SGD each.

Finally a proper bed! Our past experiences of massage parlours overseas all uses mattresses only. :/
Out of so many massage sessions I had, this was the best! The young lady massaging me used a very nice, pleasant-smelling cream. Was a lil stunned when I was asked to take off my top and bra before we started. But I guess it's normal for the traditional kind of massage! :)
Because both C and I agreed that they were such good masseuses, C tipped them 5bucks each.

Went downstairs and saw a dog kept in its cage!

****
Had our buffet-style-breakfast at Turi Beach Resort's Taming Sari, 9am in the morning.

*Eyes drool*
Didn't eat any eggs as I have had enough of them this week! It's unhealthy to eat more than 3 eggs a week! You can eat the egg, but skip the yolk as it's high in cholesterol!

Sleepy C with his breakfast.

Here's mine! :D

Orange juice + pancakes (with maple syrup plus honey) + beef bacon + baked beans + fried beehoon.

Love the beehoon so much, I took another serving plus a lil bit of fried rice!

Here's our view while savoring our food.
How I wish I would wake up to a view like that every single day~

Selcas~ xD

:3

Went back to hotel room and rested for a while before checking out. Here's the bus that came to pick us back to the ferry terminal.

After waiting for a few moments at the departure 'hall', the ferry had finally arrived at our port! :D
Long queue, cos all the uncles and aunties that came down from the Gamble ship were also heading back to Singapore.

Thank you C for surprising me with this Batam trip! Was totally unexpected. At first, I thought he would bring me to Palau Ubin and feed the mozzies there with my blood. Am so relieved that he didn't do that. xD  Well, I'm not really a fan of mozzies and sun! Hate being bitten and tan.

That's all for my Batam trip!
Look out for my next post on my Bangkok trip and how I spent my V's day! :D

Thanks for reading!
xoxo

  32. Did you know that there are hidden cameras inside the former Isabella Massage House now known as Majesty Spa & Massage at Nagoya Hill? There have been reports made and yet many Singaporeans still don't know.
If you do not believe this message then please go on your next visit and spot the hidden cam. All the massage therapists knows about it, the boss sits in his office and view all the hidden cams.
